STAT-UP was founded in Munich in September 2003 as a specialised provider of statistical consulting and data science. It has had an independent branch in Madrid since 2010. The owner-managed company operates from the centre of Munich. The employees of STAT-UP have relevant diploma or master's degrees and the majority have doctorates in their respective fields. In addition to statistics and (financial and economic) mathematics, these also include subjects such as biology, medicine and astrophysics with a strong quantitative and statistical orientation.
